SLML Awards
Leadership Award:
The Leadership Award is the SLML's highest honor. It is presented to members who have exhibited vision as well as provided inspiration and direction to members. The award may be awarded to more than one member per year, though it is not necessarily presented every year.
Qualifications include:
- Nominees must be SLML members for at least 5 years
- Nominees must have served as an officer or committee chair
- Nominees must have demonstrated leadership qualities
- Nominees must be nominated by at least 3 SLML members
- Nominees cannot be previous recipients of the Leadership Award

Outstanding Service Award
The Outstanding Service Award is presented to SLML members in recognition of demonstrated service in organizational offices, committee work, special projects, or special events. The award may be awarded to more than one member per year, though not necessarily presented every year.

- Nominees must have demonstrated outstanding service in organizational offices, committee work, special projects, or special events
- Nominees must be nominated by at least 3 SLML members
